Updated boards from 2018 when I was transitioning away from Little Things.
I still really enjoy working on ideas in the form of animatics over illustrations.
ABOUT
During LT’s run, I started developing an entirely new world that was wildly different from the one I was in the midst of creating. Unlike Little Things, Zoobound takes place in less saccharine world where both predators and prey do not quite live in harmony. Within this “savage” world, however, life is evolving and ever-changing, new ideas challenge old, and enemies are finding new ways to adapt with their world and each other…whether they like it or not! While I’ve yet to create a public-facing story around this due to other projects, life, and time, I do still hope to someday work on my animal-world story someday! Maybe when I retire? XD

REAL-WORLD REFERENCES
Mountainous vistas with tons of greenery are abundant in this world.
The aurora borealis is a phenomenon that occurs minimally in this region, yet celebrated when it shows itself. Much folklore exists around this majesty of nature.
Life exists both above and below the water's edge. As prey, your distance to any water source may be the difference between life and death. Or so it's been said.
Secret tunnels! This is one of many images I reference for the Lapin Islet, or "Rabbit Island".
Unlike the movie, mammals considered "predator" and "prey" have shared non-mammalian predators they must look out for.

FAR away exists a new world to explore, new friends to make, and new threats to face.
Tujunga Falls is a pivotal location in this story. A wide, curtain-like waterfall situated deep in the forest, some don't like to come here because of it's somewhat eerie nature.
